FOR ADULT CHORAL SINGERS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE AS VOLUNTEERS

We look forward to hearing you perform either on tape, CD, or in person.

For the summers of 2010 and 2011, you can apply for all choral positions for fully staged productions of "Hänsel und Gretel" by Humperdinck and "L'elisir d'amore" by Donizetti, and the world premiere of "Dreamnotes" by Fritz Maraffi. The operas, sung in their original language, will be performed with orchestra. Rehearsals and performances will take place in Italy from mid-June through early August each year.

Under voice type, found in the upper right corner of the application, type or print, one of the following: 1. CIALL (applying for understudy and choral positions) 2. CICHORUS (applying only for choral position)

Within two weeks after mailing the application and application fee mail to the New York address an audio cassette tape recording of two arias of contrasting style (one of which is in Italian).

You are guaranteed a performance in Rome as long as you arrive at the first rehearsal with your assigned role and chorus part MEMORIZED and attend ALL required staging and coaching sessions.
